County office of education representatives can access resources, peer learning opportunities, implementation discussions, office hours, and grant administration tools through the Capacity Grants COE Online Community.

Overview of Technical Assistance Activities for COEs

Office Hours

Every Friday from 11:00am-12:00pm. Office Hours is a drop-in space for COEs to engage in peer learning and discussion around current problems of practice related to their implementation of the Capacity Grant.

Communities of Practice

Every second Tuesday of each month from 2:00-4:00pm. Communities of Practice offer opportunities for peer learning, joint problem-solving, and cross-agency alignment to support the implementation of school-linked behavioral health services.

Peer Learning Communities

The Capacity Grant team facilitates topic-specific peer learning groups to support COEs in sharing ideas and information for the benefit of students across California. We have two active Peer Learning Communities: the Workforce Peer Learning Community and Fee Schedule Billing Consortium Peer Learning Community.

Working Groups

The Capacity Grant team facilitates time-limited working groups to gather input or develop resources to support COEs and LEAs in building their school-linked behavioral health capacity.

Tailored Support

The Capacity Grant team is always happy to meet with COEs individually. Please reach out to capacitygrants@sccoe.org if you are interested in receiving tailored support.

Regional Leads

Seven Regional Lead COEs provide technical assistance and support to COEs in their geographic regions to build capacity, infrastructure, and partnerships in alignment with statewide technical assistance and support for the Capacity Grant.

COE Online Community Access

The Capacity Grants COE Online Community is a dedicated space for county office of education representatives to connect, collaborate, learn, and share. This online platform offers opportunities to ask questions, exchange ideas, and access helpful resources.
